Project Management

Mr. Clarke joined Meridia Capital in September 2006. Meridia Capital is one of the few investment institutions within the real estate industry with an in-house Project Management team. He is responsible for all CapEx matters. During the acquisition process, this covers the technical due diligence and potential CapEx/refurbishment project analysis.

After opening Hotel Arts Barcelona in 1994, he was recruited as the Property Manager responsible for asset management control. Mr. Clarke was previously involved as a Project Manager in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games Development Project. This included the construction of a luxury 5-star hotel, office building, commercial retail area and casino, where he was contracted by Bovis International and then Shimizu Construction Japan to complete the project up to final inspection and handover to client. Prior to this, in the year after completing his studies, he gathered valuable experience working for his family-owned Design and Development Company.

Mr. Clarke holds a B.S. in Technical Industrial Engineering from Coventry Technical College.
