  • MadridPROJECT HOTEL MAD Location View on Google Maps

    In January 2019 Meridia Capital acquired a Hotel in Madrid's Chamartín district. The asset has a total surface of 12,580 sqm split in 199 rooms. The transaction also included 2 adjacent commercial spaces and 94 parking units. Meridia Capital plans to carry out diverse refurbishment actions in order to improve and reposition the asset leveraging on the team's expertise and track record in the hospitality sector.

    In December 2018 we acquired several plots of land with a total buildable area of 24,605 sqm. The land is located in Barcelona´s 22@ district, one of the areas with highest potential within the city. Meridia Capital intends to carry out a transformation plan in order to develop the land for tertiary use and fully integrate it within the local community.

    In December 2018 we acquired a 26,367 sqm logistics platform in Corredor de Henares, close to Madrid. The area is considered to be the main logistics activity hub in the Spanish market. This acquisition reinforced Meridia Capital’s consolidation in the logistics sector.

    In May 2018 we completed the acquisition of an office building in the Madrid's central business district. The asset has around 7,500 sqm divided into 4,800 sqm of office space and 2,500 sqm of commercial property as well as 54 parking spaces. Through this investment we reinforced our office presence in Madrid while entering the heart of the central business district.

    In March 2018 we acquired a 27,500 sqm warehouse in Alovera (Guadalajara, 30 minutes away from Madrid). The asset is located at the Corredor de Henares axis, an excellent and well connected industrial area. This acquisition reinforced Meridia Capital’s consolidation in Spanish logistics.

    In November 2017 we acquired Barnasud shopping centre, a 34,000 sqm mixed-use property located in Barcelona. Meridia asset and project management teams are working to reposition and reconvert the asset.

    In July 2017 we acquired a 8,300 sqm office building in Madrid's MADBIT district. This is a single tenant property leased to an IBEX 35 listed consulting and technology company.

    In June 2017 we acquired a 39,000 sqm logistics platform in Toledo. The property benefits from a prime location in the 3rd Ring of the well-known A-4 Highway (Andalucía Highway) just c.40km away from Madrid.

  • BarcelonaProject Sea Location View on Google Maps

    In July 2017 we acquired a 43,400 sqm block in Barcelona’s 22@ technological district. The asset is located in the city’s sea front in one of the most relevant office and residential development areas. Meridia is carrying out a major transformation as it develops a mixed-use project that will include two state of the art office buildings.

    In September 2018, Meridia Capital signed a 10-year lease with a multinational consultancy firm for c. 80% of the office space. The largest office transaction in Barcelona in the last 10 years.

    In October 2016 we acquired two office buildings located within the Viladecans Business Park (Barcelona). The assets have a total surface area of c. 23,000 sqm and 280 parking spaces. These are two class A buildings located within easy reach to the city centre and the airport. 

  • BarcelonaProject Alta Location View on Google Maps

    In September 2016 we acquired an office portfolio located mostly in Barcelona. The portfolio had a total surface area of c. 17,400 sqm plus 280 parking spaces. The main asset, Alta 1, is a building in Esplugues (Barcelona) located in front of Nestlé’s Spanish headquarters, which were part of the Meridia II portfolio. The portfolio also included a smaller office building in downtown Barcelona.  

  • Madrid / BarcelonaProject Insurance Location View on Google Maps

    In April 2016 we announced the acquisition of a 9 asset portfolio in Madrid and Barcelona’s metropolitan areas. The portfolio, totalling c. 42,000 sqm, included 8 office buildings, a logistics warehouse as well as 581 parking spaces.
