Mr. González joined Meridia Capital in March 2015 as Head of Real Estate Asset Management. He oversees the business plan for each vehicle and contributes to portfolio management. He brings more than 17 years of experience gained in Spain and Portugal. His wide network in Iberia is a great source of market intelligence, which allows Meridia Capital to achieve optimum fees in letting and property, recognise upcoming supply, spot new demand trends, understand tenants’ needs or find the best professionals for the team, amongst other things.
Prior to joining Meridia Capital, he worked for more than four years as General Manager at Falcon II, a real estate vehicle set up by CBRE and owned by six Spanish family offices. He had previously worked for almost six years at British Land, contributing to expanding the business into Continental Europe. Mr. González spent almost three years at Unibail Rodamco, one of the largest listed property companies, managing different types of assets (offices, logistics and mainly retail parks/shopping centres), as well as being involved in the investment side of the business.
He graduated in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds an MBA from IE Business School.
