Simon Scarrott

Mr. Scarrott is a Charted Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) by profession with more than 18 years experience. He moved to Spain in 1997 joining Currie & Brown’s Spanish operations, working on large retail/commercial projects for Marks & Spencer and British Airways. From 1999, he moved to dedicate himself primarily as a Senior Project Manager working on various hotel and leisure projects (Hotel Arts Barcelona 2000 & 2006; InterContinental Madrid; Hotel Florida and Hilton Hotel, Barcelona). Mr. Scarrott has also acted as a Client Representative on Port Aventura’s two 500 bed hotels and for Burberry retail stores in Barcelona and Milan. In 2001 he became an Associate Director of Currie & Brown. Prior to 1997 he worked for AYH Partnership in the UK as a QS on various commercial and retail projects including new-build shopping centres, offices and office fitting-out. In 1993 Mr. Scarrott spent over a year in Barcelona to finish Hotel Arts after the Olympic Games.
