Mr. Gómez-Sanabria is Madrid-based and collaborates closely with Meridia Capital as an external consultant. One of his major achievements to date has been the fund’s property in Paris, with involvement in areas ranging from the operator selection process to the building’s complete refurbishment. Throughout his career, he has worked on more than 150 projects including development of hotels and residential projects. Since 1998 until recently, Mr. Gómez-Sanabria had also been working for Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) on a variety of projects. Two of them are in Spain: Club Son Antem in Mallorca (mentioned in 2002 as one of the five best MVCI´s worldwide) and Marriott’s Playa Andaluza Beach Resort, Estepona, Málaga. As an MVCI consultant, Mr. Gómez-Sanabria’s responsibilities included master planning and site analysis for potential projects in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria and United Arab Emirates. All his architectural work is currently carried out through AGSW, Architecture & Town Planning office, which has also been involved on various hospitality projects for other well-known companies like Intrawest Corporation, Starwood, Marriott International, Sol Meliá and a number of smaller Spanish companies.
