In April 1988, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (MACBA) was born from the creation of the MACBA Consortium, which integrated the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council and the MACBA Foundation. The museum opened to the public in 1995 and has been a top tourist attraction in Barcelona ever since. Meridia Capital is a strong supporter of the arts and a proud contributor to MACBA.
